Commonly asked questions

What are Bonds?

Bonds are essentially loans where you lend money to an issuer - such as a company or the government - for a fixed period. In return, you receive periodic interest payments and the principal amount when the bond matures. Companies use bonds to fund business growth and other needs, while governments use them to finance public spending and infrastructure etc.

Why should you invest in Bonds?

• Fixed Returns: With Bonds, you can earn regular returns through fixed interest payments on a periodic basis. • Regulated Investment: Bonds are regulated and listed on stock exchanges, which means they follow a compliant and transparent investment framework. • Portfolio Diversification: Investing in bonds alongside other investment assets can be a good way of diversifying your portfolio and spreading your risk.

Can Bonds be sold if I need money urgently?

Yes, you can place a sell order before maturity via Grip Invest's "Sell Anytime" feature. Sale is subject to market liquidity and buyer availability.
